Adventures of the Mathis Family
Caleb really enjoys books. Becca reads to him frequently and I decided to capture it on video for you all to enjoy.
Even at three months, Caleb sleeps much better when he is swaddled. Otherwise, he usually wiggles his arms in his sleep and wakes himself up with an unintentional smack to the face. When I put him down to swaddle him, he usually wakes up. Today I decided to figure out how to swaddle Caleb without having to put him down.
As long as he isn’t hungry or tired, Caleb loves getting his diaper changed. It’s one of his most vocal and interactive playtimes.
I introduced Caleb to his new toys, which he grabbed and sucked on. I think this is the first time he’s played with his toys like this.
Caleb gets all snugly and cute after a bath.
I already posted pictures of the snow day we had. Now here’s some video we took.
Last night, Becca found a spider in our bathroom. A giant spider. I grabbed the video camera and we hunted it down.
We had a “tree guy” come out to estimate removing a giant rotted out tree for $500 to cut the tree down and haul it off. Yikes! I told my dad, and he said that he’d like to come over and look at it. Turns out he brought a chainsaw and was pretty convincing that we could cut it down safely.
No one got hurt, but we narrowly missed the house.
Our little Caleb has chosen the path of the warrior.
